Recently, we showed you a video of our gardeners collecting honey produced by our bees. Now, it’s time to feed them to ensure they are in good health to survive the winter! Our beekeepers add a bucket of liquid sugar to each hive for their colonies to eat over the cold months.
Have you heard about our new fire circle located in the walled English Garden? Warm up this autumn in front of a beautiful fire. Beginning at dusk, our fire circle runs until about 11 p.m. daily.
Meet David Salzar, Ste. Anne’s Bakery Manager. David has been with our bakery since day one. His vision, creative flair and desire to create healthy and appetizing products has allowed our bakery to offer something unique to our community. Originally from Xalapa, Veracruz in Mexico, David was a teacher in hospitality and tourism at CONALEP College and Chedraui Trades School. ... Since his start here at Ste. Anne’s in 2005, David has worn many hats including Dining Room Manager, Food and Beverage Manager and Guest Services Duty Manager. He was also instrumental in the creation of our Ste. Last week, our beekeepers collected approximately 375 pounds of honey from our Ste. Anne’s honey bees! Using a fume board, watch as they gather the frames of honey:

Meet Laura, Ste. Anne’s Innkeeper! Laura has been working at Ste. Anne’s Spa for over 18 years in a variety of departments, including in Human Resources, Accounting and Guest Services. Many of you may recognize Laura from checking in at the front desk. In addition to assisting our front desk staff with daily duties, Laura is an on-site presence for guests at the Inn ensuring their stays are exceptional. ...
