My first online course has taken 2 months of constant work to put together. *Launch date - November 1st!* 'Discover Your Healthy Action Mindset'... Long-term issues can be very difficult to break down and look after due to so many affecting-factors ... and our feelings can get in the way of developing and maintaining the motivation to move enough. I've put together some exciting material that could lead on to greater things, drawn from all aspects of my life, such as studying and practicing Osteopathy, as well as reviewing the sciences and the experiential knowledge I’ve gained along the way, plus, there’s all the continued professional development I explore and continue to learn! Sometimes, it’s easier to think and do things that give us quicker, yet shorter-term outcomes. Yet, we want to be healthy, which is so often a longer-game issue. So the way I see it, it all needs to move forwards asap towards meeting in the middle somehow, regardless of sitting around debating about what’s good and what’s bad for us in general, and drawing upon what works for us as individuals in the present moment. Given the current global situation, limitations have been put into place, for better or for worse and affecting some more than others. Some of the most interesting approaches I feel necessary right now are: - Looking at what can be done for those without access to hands-on manual treatment. - Providing tools that are simple, effective and motivational. - Supplying new ways to explore and apply techniques and physical actions that don’t have any attached stigma. - Providing methods that don’t require gadgets, gym passes or a lot of preparation time. - Providing educational ideas that make sense and are easy to explain and learn. So I have put all this together for people who feel they have limitations and less choice when it comes to space, time and budget options to put healthy actions into place. Based on valued feedback, I’ve tried to concisely pin-point the exact kind of practical tools and theoretical points to bear in mind that can help to get things done, whilst addressing the longer-term issues that we can all struggle with in modern life when it comes to the motivation, memory and mindset for movement.
